Beeswax has a very complex biochemical composition, in many respects it depends on where the bees are located and what they feed on. On average, wax contains about 300 substances, among which are fatty acids, water, minerals, esters, hydrocarbons, alcohols, aromatic and coloring agents, etc. Also, wax contains vitamins (it contains a lot of vitamin A - 4 g per 100 g product), therefore, often acts as the main component of many cosmetics (creams, masks, etc.).
Beeswax mixed with other ingredients easily turns into medicinal ointments that can get rid of many skin diseases and problems: boils, rashes, boils, wounds, corns. It is enough to mix the wax with olive oil and apply this ointment after treating the wound with hydrogen peroxide or propolis.
